Simply type in the url http://twitterfountain.com/custom/yourkeyword and replace yourkeyword with the hashtag or keyword of your choice.

Adding a custom image search

When you don’t want the image keyword to be the same as the twitter search keyword, you can add a slash and then add your image keyword, for example:

http://twitterfountain.com/custom/luigi/supermario

About using hashags in the URL

Currently you can’t use a # character in the URL bar, please replace this character with %23. You can also leave the hash out entirely if your keyword is unique enough.

Mindz.com is a social network that helps individuals build their brands, alongside of their network. Users can easily create networks, events and organize their networks with Mindz.com. Yesterday saw some more news: the integration of Twitterfountain in the events-section of Mindz.com. When users create a new event, they can simultaneously create an accompanying Twitterfountain bu simply entering the appropriate hastags. The Twitterfountain is then created on the fly and added tot the page for the event.

One neat thing I’ve been doing with this is setting it to run fullscreen on a computer in public view in the office. You’ll need to change the settings so the tweets arrive slowly enough and display large enough to read. I’ve been throwing in search terms related to products or campaigns we’re working on; it’s a neat way to see what people are talking about right NOW.

The plugin does two things for you:

1. It adds an ‘TF’ button to your visual editor, allowing you to easily customize and embed a Twitterfountain into your blogpost or page.
2. It adds a configurable Twitterfountain ‘widget’, to use in your WordPress theme’s sidebar (provided the theme you are using supports widgets).

Installing the plugin:

1. Download the plugin and unzip it.
2. Upload the extracted ‘twitterfountain’ folder to your
   /wp-content/plugins/ folder.
3. Activate the plugin.
