The default value is now "vertical only" which results in a smoother, more readable twitterfountain. In the settings menu you can still choose to make the messages move in a random horizontal direction. Right now we're working on the flash player 10 issue, which seems to be related to the SWX engine that we use for Twitterfountain. We’ve finally adjusted the scrolling direction of the messages.
